Chaitanya Bhandari

MS in Computer Science candidate

University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign

Biography

I am an incoming MSCS student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign broadly interested in distributed systems, with a focus on the reliability. My current research focuses on bugs in real-world cloud systems that are rooted in erroneous interactions between the constituent distributed systems.

Before joining UIUC, I got my bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani in 2018. Thereafter, I spent 3 and a half wonderful years at Nutanix, where I designed and implemented a distributed orchestration & resource allocation engine for Nutanix’s CI/CD pipeline.
